The House Doctor

The House Doctor is a licensed general contractor located in historic downtown Savannah. Charlie Angell, the CEO, was born and raised in Savannah, GA, where he spent his childhood working hard to maintain his family's farm or sailing the Georgia coast. At age 14, Charlie and his brothers built a two story log farmhouse and from this point on, Charlie knew he wanted to be a builder. His interest in cooking gourmet food with his family and starting restaurants in Savannah morphed into a passion to transform kitchens into functional spaces for cooking and entertaining that radiate Savannah's coastal charm. We are now focusing on roofing, carpentry, and painting. Since starting The House Doctor in 1983, Charlie has renovated countless residential and commercial buildings throughout Savannah and surrounding areas. The House Doctor is unique for its 40+ years of building relationships with the best construction professionals in Savannah.
